Beginning his career in 1975 selling
cars at a large GM dealership, a
strong work ethic quickly allowed
Jay to advance into management.
After 16 years he served in virtually every management
position in the Dealership. Successfully completing the
Chevrolet Management Academy, he was
promoted to Vice President and
General Manager in 1984.
His
career as an expert Trainer started
in 1994 after participating in
Cadillac Motor Division’s Video
Training tape, “Hit a Home Run With
Leasing”. After its’ distribution,
he founded Advantage Training
Systems, Inc., became a Chevrolet
Certified Trainer, and was also
appointed an approved Trainer for
the General Motors Cadillac Division
Lease Program.
In 1997, Jay was recruited to be an
in-Dealership Management Consultant
by NCM Associates, Inc., the
original 20 Group company. NCM
(formerly Nichols, Campbell and
Morrow) serves 2,500 dealers for
20-Group Meetings.
Jay’s
primary area of expertise is
in-Dealership Consulting
implementing comprehensive Net
Profit Improvement programs. He has
experience consulting with over 250
Dealerships in the past 13 years.
Jay also has worked as an expert
witness defending automobile dealers
and analyzing transactions.
His vast, hands-on retail
experience is invaluable to
Clients and provides an excellent
base from which to consult on every
area of Staff
Development and Profit Improvement
Programs.
